Living the School Life....

The one thing I never dreamed about doing is homeschooling my kids!

With Joel entering Gr. 3 and Calla Gr.1 - this year we made the switch to take them out of their (great) school and teach at home.  We decided that was what God was asking of us during this season of their lives, so we stepped out and trusted Him to look after all of us.

Many have questioned my ability to devote the proper amount of time to Joel and Calla's education given Asher's extra needs and care he requires....but as we work our way through September, I am thankful to be able to say, God gives us what we need when we need it.  The same way I trusted God to see us through our challenges with Asher's health, I am put into a place again where I have to fully rely on his strength to make it through each and every hour of the day!

I am excited to share how much Joel and Calla are enjoying school at home!  They are motivated and eager to learn and have shown me how much they are capable of every day.

There have already been days where I am absolutely exhausted and wish I could have a nap or stay in bed.  There have been days where Asher has been sick and it's more challenging than usual.  There have been days where the kids test the boundaries and limits with their new "teacher"!  But there is nothing that we can't walk through without God's grace and strength!  Even on the days that I may feel like saying "I quit"!

I am blessed to be able to be home with all of my kids, and now, as we walk this journey of learning and educating together....I look forward to sharing some snap shots of our day to day life!
